Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #4: BOO! Challenge

For this week's challenge we had to create a Halloween project that incorporates some kind of transparent element (vellum, acrylic, plastic packaging, overlay, etc.)

I decided to use glass blocks for my project.  I cut glass etch vinyl to cover the glass, so that you can't see the lights inside. Then used orange, black & white vinyl for the other cuts. They are from the following cartridges:

Pumpkin Carvings
Pumpkin- 4.75"

Happy Hauntings
Trick or Treat- 1.99"
Spooky (orange background, used remove contour feature to remove the letters)- 2.60"

Mini Monsters
Webs- 2.33"
(I cut off the spider)

George
Glass etch vinyl
Squares- 4.75"
Rectangles- 7.46"x2.87"

Then I used some of the Cosmo Cricket Haunted papers that I won last week on the blog to make paper bows. I learned how to make the bows from Linda at The Paper Boutique. She has a great video that you should check out!  I also used some Cosmo Cricket Haunted Rubons, that I won, to make the danglies on the pumpkin. I did this by rubbing them on to cardstock then cutting them out. I am sad that Halloween is almost here, so I can only have them out for a couple of days. Oh well, there's always next year!
